A nationally acclaimed portrait, It
represents the power of the human body to turn the soul's imagination
into reality. In each of us, we carry a spark of this light- this
pure, creative energy, that is capable of much more than many give it
credit for. It first won an award in St.Louis Missouri, where the work
won second place among 80 accepted pieces from across the country.
This juried representational art competition took place at the
Heartland Art Club and was called RepreSentational 2023. Sara was the
youngest artist to receive acclaim in this competition, aged 24 at the
time. In 2024, It received its second national award in Nacogdoches,
TX, at SFA Fine Art Galleries where it also claimed second place in a
national juried art competition. The competition was not limited to
representational art, but a broad spectrum of styles, including
sculpture.
