Make-Shift Exhibition
A show featuring our audio-visual experience Rainbow Mind, eleven local artists using recycled or found objects, and workshops
“Make–shift” relates to using whatever you can find — like how you'd make-shift a house, or you'd make-shift shelter when you needed to. But we also have the ability to make the shift in our reality. When I look at the times that we live in, I feel concerned. It's really upsetting, and it's hard to keep going sometimes. And I relate to being frozen, being so depressed about where the earth could go that it feels like you get stuck and stagnant. Art is the catalyst for how I see to move forward.

Rainbow Mind is an immersive audio-visual experience with 13 speakers in surround sound. Some of these speakers are handmade sound sculptures, we also have floor speakers you can sit on as part of our VIP Experience. This journey is about 20 minutes long and is not for those who are seizure prone from lights.

Heartifacts -Nicole Haworth
I was born and raised Aqui en Taos, to a family of artists. Art of many mediums has been a core foundation of my life. I am now a jeweler by trade. Growing up I was exposed to a lot of makeshift art. It inspired me from a young age, to collect discarded items to create an alchemy of art. “Heartifacts” was born of a beautiful broken tea cup and scrapped silver from unsuccessful jewelry projects. There is an unspeakable joy and relief in alchemizing the pain of broken pieces, back into cherished treasures of the heart.I present to you my Heartifacts…
“Heartifacts” The jewelry collection 9inx12in A broken antique tea cup, recycled sterling silver scraps, in a repurposed frame from a broken mirror, enjoyed tea bags, and flower petals.
