Las Damas, New Mexico’s premier female artist collective, is partnering with OmniHum Gallery in the heart of Taos to present "Las Damas x OmniHum – Women in Existentialism," an exhibition that has invited female artists across New Mexico to explore the rich and complex theme of existentialism through their creative practice.

Rooted in the philosophy that emphasizes the deeply personal nature of human experience and the inherent freedom and autonomy of the individual, existentialism offers a vast terrain for artistic interpretation. This exhibition encourages artists to reflect on what it means to exist — whether through the lens of being female or simply being human — and to present works that question, challenge, and celebrate that experience.
